Eastern Region branch of the Saudi Red Crescent Authority (SRCA) announced that it implemented 1,346 training and rehabilitation programs, awareness lectures, and specialized community education sessions during the first half of 2025. These efforts contributed to training and qualifying 44,355 beneficiaries, including citizens, residents, medical professionals, and ambulance personnel, across three main training centers in Al-Khobar, Al-Ahsa, and Hafr Al-Batin.
According to the authority, these training programs fall within the framework of several key initiatives, including the 'Muath' initiative, which promotes emergency safety protocols in workplaces, and the 'Life Ambassador for First Aid’ program focused on first aid skills. Additionally, specialized training sessions targeted school first aid education, while others were designed for health and ambulance professionals.
A number of community-focused initiatives were also implemented, all of which aim to enhance the community’s preparedness and response capabilities in emergencies.
