Egypt’s Minister of Health and Population and Deputy Prime Minister, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, took part in the “Huawei Cloud Summit for North Africa,” joining government officials, international experts, and technology leaders to explore the future of cloud computing and artificial intelligence (AI) in critical sectors—most notably healthcare.

In his remarks, Abdel Ghaffar reaffirmed Egypt’s commitment to harnessing modern technologies, including cloud solutions, to protect health data and drive digital transformation. He noted that upgrading health infrastructure and digitising services are key national priorities to achieve sustainable development.
