Egypt’s Minister of Trade and Industry Ahmed Samir has decided to continue banning the export of medical oxygen except with the approval of the Minister of Health and Population and Minister of Trade and Industry, for a year, starting from mid-July.

The minister said that the ban comes within the framework of the state’s comprehensive plan to protect citizens and provide needs of hospitals and medical institutions from the oxygen needed to provide medical services.
