The Deputy Minister of Health, Dr. Ali Al-Walidi, met with a team from the World Health Organization (WHO) to discuss ways to enhance cooperation and develop the epidemiological surveillance system in Yemen.

The meeting, held in Aden, focused on reviewing the current health situation and challenges facing surveillance programs, with an emphasis on strengthening the system's capacity to protect society from disease outbreaks.

Dr. Al-Walidi stressed the importance of partnership with WHO in building guidelines and developing health systems, highlighting the need for a unified surveillance system for early disease detection and response.
