Microsoft has joined a consortium of healthcare leaders to establish the Trustworthy & Responsible AI Network (TRAIN), which aims to operationalise responsible artificial intelligence principles to improve the quality and safety of patient care.

TRAIN members will help to improve the quality and trustworthiness of AI by sharing best practices, offering AI-enabled clinical care registration, providing tools to enable measurement of outcomes associated with the implementation of AI and facilitating the development of a federated national AI outcomes registry.
