Fifty nurses from the Kuwait Center for Mental Health and the Addiction Treatment Center have begun a six-day workshop aimed at boosting their skills in caring for patients with mental health and addiction challenges.

The Ministry of Health, through its Nursing Services Department, is running the training in partnership with the University of Jordan. A visiting professor from the university is leading the sessions, making this the second specialized mental health workshop organized by the ministry this year.
