Egypt’s Minister of Health and Population Khaled Abdel Ghaffar met with Director-General of the World Health Organization (WHO) Tedros Adhanom in Geneva, on the sidelines of the 76th meeting of the World Health Assembly.

Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, stated that the meeting dealt with many files of joint cooperation between the two sides, foremost of which is the update of the Egyptian file submitted to obtain WHO certification, to eliminate the “Hepatitis C”.
