The Ministry of Health continues to implement the national campaign for immunisation coverage rates, which includes all governorates of the Sultanate of Oman. Field teams in the Dhofar Governorate conducted home visits to the various wilayats of the governorate to collect data by examining the immunisation card for the child and the mother.

Muhammad bin Saeed Al Shehri, Head of the Infectious Disease Control Department at the Directorate General of Health Services in Dhofar Governorate, explained that the national campaign for immunisation coverage rates began in Dhofar Governorate on February 20, targeting a sample of 1442 children between the ages of 7 months to 5 years.
