A Health Control Workshop held in Salalah, addressing critical issues related to food safety and inspection, concluded its activities last week at the Rotana Salalah Resort. The workshop was organised by the Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and the municipalities of Muscat and Dhofar governorates.

Specialists from Muscat Municipality presented several working papers on topics such as food safety concepts, spoilage detection, foodborne diseases, and the importance of health inspections in the food industry.
