United States Donates Additional 100,620 Doses of the Pfizer Vaccine to Tunisia


The United States delivered an additional 100,620 doses of the Pfizer vaccine to Tunisia as part of the COVAX mechanism, bringing the total U.S. donated vaccines to Tunisia to 3 million doses since the COVID-19 pandemic outbreak. The United States remains committed to working hand in hand with Tunisians to save lives and overcome the economic impacts of the pandemic.
Today’s delivery ceremony was attended by Chargée d’Affaires, a.i. Natasha Franceschi, CEO of the Tunisian Central Pharmacy Bechir Yermani, and UNICEF Officer in Charge Silvia Chiarucci.
