The Tunis headquarters of the Italian Development Cooperation Agency (AICS) hosted the presentation ceremony of the 'Mednet Mediterranean Network for One Health', a project funded by the Italian Development Cooperation Agency (AICS) and implemented by the Istituto Zooprofilattico Sperimentale dell'Abruzzo e del Molise (IZS Teramo) in coordination with the Tunisian Ministry of Health and the World Health Organisation (WHO) Tunisia.

"The One Health approach is at the heart of the Italian strategy to respond effectively to health emergencies," said the Italian Ambassador to Tunisia, Alessandro Prunas via the Embassy's social channels.

Mednet 4OH aims to improve the capacity to respond to health emergencies through an integrated One Health approach, which takes into account the close connection between human, animal and environmental health.
