In light of the ongoing situation in Syria, the Health Directorate in Al-Mafraq has bolstered its medical operations at the Jaber Border Center. This initiative is aimed at providing immediate healthcare services to Jordanians returning from Syria, including those released from Syrian prisons, and ensuring their swift transfer to Ministry of Health hospitals if needed.

In a statement to the Jordan News Agency (Petra), Raed Shboul, Secretary- General of Primary Health Care and Epidemics highlighted that the Ministry had significantly increased the number of healthcare staff at the center.
