Abdul Salam Al-Dhamari, the Undersecretary of Al Mahwit Governorate, launched a campaign today to distribute mosquito nets in several districts to combat malaria.
The campaign carried out by the National Malaria Control Program and the governorate's health office aims to distribute 223,000 mosquito nets to protect 419,808 people in the districts of Al-Khabt, Milhan, Bani Sa'd, Ar-Rujum, Hufash, and At-Tawilah.
During the inauguration, the Undersecretary of the Governorate, Dhamari, emphasized the significance of the campaign in the fight against malaria, particularly in regions where disease-carrying mosquitoes are common. He commended the efforts of the National Malaria Control Program and the individuals overseeing the campaign.
