Higher Population Council, Share-Net Jordan Launch Fact Sheets on STIs and HIV

The Higher Population Council, in collaboration with Share-Net Jordan, has launched two fact sheets focusing on sexual and reproductive health, specifically addressing sexually transmitted infections (STIs) and HIV/AIDS in Jordan.

According to a statement issued on Monday, the fact sheets were developed with the expertise of specialists from the Ministry of Health, the Royal Medical Services, and the Sawaed Al Tagheer Center for Community Empowerment. The launch took place during a meeting on Monday attended by representatives of relevant national entities.

Issa Masarweh, Secretary General of the Higher Population Council, emphasized that these fact sheets were developed as part of the council's and Share-Net’s commitment to providing essential information and creating an environment conducive to improving sexual and reproductive health in Jordan.

This initiative aligns with Jordan's pursuit of achieving the third Sustainable Development Goal (SDG), which aims to ensure healthy lives and promote well-being for all ages by 2030, as well as the National Strategy for Sexual and Reproductive Health (2020-2030).
