The 2025 Annual Report of the Health Sector Transformation Program highlighted significant qualitative achievements reflecting the growing impact of Saudi Arabia’s healthcare transformation since the launch of Vision 2030 and confirmed continued progress in building a more integrated and efficient healthcare ecosystem that places human health at its core.
The report stated that life expectancy in the Kingdom rose to 79.7 years, approaching the Vision 2030 target of 80 years, reflecting improvements in public health indicators, preventive care, and healthier lifestyles. Primary healthcare coverage reached 97.5% of population clusters across all regions, including remote areas, improving access to healthcare services nationwide.
