The second edition of the Primary Healthcare Centres Conference and Exhibition launched in the Kingdom of Bahrain.

The event was attended by Lieutenant General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council of Health, and Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health.

The event is held in partnership with the Supreme Council of Health, the Bahrain Family Physicians Association, the International Conference on Family Medicine, and the Kuwait Primary Healthcare Conference, while BDA Conferences and Exhibitions is responsible for organising the event.

The opening day programme included sessions on preventive medicine, day-to-day clinical practice, non-communicable diseases, multidisciplinary care, and mental health, in addition to an industry symposium and a scientific dental forum.
