The Minister of Health, Abdelhak Sayhi, received, on Monday, at the headquarters of his ministerial department, the Portuguese ambassador to Algiers, Luis de Albuquerque Veloso, in the presence of officials from the central administration.
This meeting allowed reviewing bilateral relations and means and ways of enhancing them to higher levels in the interest of both countries.
The two parties also discussed the content of the memorandum of understanding signed in 2018, whoe implementation was delayed due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
In this regard, the two parties examined the possibility of reactivating it by signing a precise and specific agreement that includes several areas, including medical emergencies, training, research, technology and information system.
