Training program to promote reproductive health for people with special needs

In Taiz governorate, HUMAN ACCESS launched a 3-day training program on promoting reproductive health concepts for people with special needs, which involved 20 trainees from reproductive health service providers in health facilities, as well as educators and social workers working with this group.

This initiative comes within the project to support reproductive health services funded by the United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA), as an important part of the humanitarian response efforts in Yemen.

A key objective of the training is to equip trainees with skills and knowledge related to dealing with people with special needs. It also highlights their right to receive reproductive health services that are complete and effective, as well as on an equal basis to others, as they are essential and vital human rights services.
