The Kingdom marks World Mental Health Day today, joining a global initiative launched by the World Federation for Mental Health in 1992 and observed annually on October 10 to raise public awareness of mental health issues, activate global support efforts, and encourage communities and individuals to take action to promote and protect mental health for all.
The Ministry of Health marked the occasion by publishing key facts on its official website, noting that conditions such as depression and anxiety are major contributors to the growing global burden of disease.
