As the conflict in Sudan enters its third year, more than 10 million people have been displaced, the economy is in crisis and essential water, sanitation, health services, and markets have been devastated.
Intense fighting continues to drive dire food security, health and nutrition conditions in Greater Darfur and Greater Kordofan and severely restrict humanitarian access. Isolated communities in El Fasher and the Nuba Mountains still face extreme food shortages, very low access to basic services and overstretched social support systems.
