An additional human case of avian influenza A(H5N6) has been reported in China, according to Hong Kong Centre for Health Protection (CHP) report. The case involves a 68-year-old male living in Chongqing, who had exposure to live domestic poultry before the onset of symptoms. He developed symptoms on August 5 and was admitted for treatment on August 10. He passed away on August 20.
