On the sidelines of the 11th meeting of the Health Ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) countries and the 88th (50th session) meeting of the GCC Health Ministers’ Council, Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, met with Dr. Ahmad Al Awadhi, Minister of Health of the State of Kuwait.

The meeting underscored the deep relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the State of Kuwait, and the growing cooperation across various domains, particularly in the health sector, in a way that serves shared interests and supports Gulf health integration.

The two sides discussed means to further develop bilateral health cooperation through the exchange of expertise and best practices in areas such as primary healthcare, disease prevention, and strengthening public health systems. They also discussed cooperation opportunities in health training, capacity development, and expanding partnerships in pharmaceuticals and medical technologies.
