The United Nation's multi-sectoral Rapid Response Mechanism (RRM) led by UNFPA in collaboration with WFP, UNICEF and other humanitarian partners plays a pivotal role in addressing the urgent needs arising from conflict and climate-induced disasters in Yemen.
From January to September 2024, the RRM provided life-saving emergency relief to 86.5 percent (423,451 individuals) of those enrolled for assistance, across 20 governorates. Amongst those assisted, 22 percent were female-headed households, 21 percent were elderly and 10% were individuals with disabilities.
