(TAP) - Health Minister Ali Mrabet underlined the importance of cooperation with the European Union in the health sector, commending the support provided by the EU-funded Essaha Aziza Health Sector Support Programme in Tunisia to improve the health infrastructure and health care services in priority regions.

Closing works of a conference on "the sharing of regional experiences to develop and enhance care in the first aid and emergency sectors," organised by the EU-funded Essaha Aziza Health Sector Support Programme in Tunisia, the minister pointed out that the second phase of this programme has benefited all regions of the country, with specific programmes under the national health policy, including notably the project to digitise public health structures and to improve care in emergency wards.
