Vice Health Minister Highlights Saudi Health Transformation Experience at World Health Assembly


Vice Minister of Health for Planning and Development Eng. Abdulaziz Al-Rumaih is participating in the 79th World Health Assembly in Geneva, Switzerland, held from May 16 to 20, as part of the Kingdom’s delegation engaging in discussions on global health issues and strengthening international cooperation in the health sector.


His participation reflects Saudi Arabia’s efforts to enhance international collaboration in healthcare. He is scheduled to attend several key sessions and high-level events, including a session on health resilience, the launch of the Global Vision for Healthy Aging, and meetings of the Executive Office of the Council of Arab Health Ministers (63rd session).


The Kingdom is expected to present its experience in developing the healthcare system, including resilient health supply chain models and logistics hubs, as well as progress achieved in digital transformation and health services under the Health Sector Transformation Program, part of Saudi Vision 2030.
