Tripoli, 20 February 2024 – UNICEF Libya expresses its deep gratitude to the German Government to support Maternal, Newborn, Child Health (MNCH) and Nutrition programmes in Libya through the German development agency Deutsche Gesellschaft für Internationale Zusammenarbeit (GIZ) GmbH. In cooperation with the Primary Health Care Institute of the Libyan Ministry of Health, this vital contribution will be directed towards two critical UNICEF programmes addressing immediate and mid-term health challenges facing the country and is part of Germany’s engagement in the health sector.
