The United Nations Population Fund (UNFPA) office in Libya, in cooperation with the Ministry of Health, has launched a capacity building programme in support of midwives in Libya.
UNFPA office said in a statement on its Facebook page, Friday, that to mark the International Day of the Midwife, the Fund is conducting the programme for 5 days in cooperation with the Libyan Ministry of Health, and aims to train midwives on spacing between births.
