In light of our duty towards medical staff who have dedicated their lives to serving humanity and sacrificed their lives for this cause, with the ongoing war and aggression on the Gaza Strip, where the occupation forces have killed 1,402 members of the medical staff, detained 360, among which 4 have died in prison due to severe torture, in addition to around 3,500 wounded, including cases of disability and amputations.
More than 80% of hospitals and healthcare institutions have been rendered non-operational due to the consequences of the Israeli war and the destruction of these medical facilities. Medical personnel are now practicing their profession under difficult conditions in primitive settings, medical points, field hospitals, and unsafe locations, especially in the besieged Gaza Strip and the West Bank, which are witnessing an escalation of tensions.
