The Department of Statistics (DoS) launched the 2023 Population and Family Health Survey on Monday to gather data about the health sector.

The DoS called on the public to “cooperate fully” with the department's field teams, verifying their identity before providing any information.

In a press statement, the department said that field teams will carry out anemia tests on all women in the age group of 15–49 years, in addition to children under the age of five.
