Situation Highlights

nOPV2 has been approved as the vaccine to be used for R2 NIDs from 8 to 11 May 2023, arrangements have been made for it to arrive in the country on 10 April 2023.

The mid-term EPI review meeting of the essential immunization program started on 2 to 7 April 2023. His Excellency the Minister of Health launched the opening ceremony. Participants were from Federal, State EPI teams, WHO CO, UNICEF CO and GAVI. Post NIDs review meeting has been planned from 08 to 11 April following mid-term review meeting of essential immunizaƟon program.
