In the presence of Minister of Public Health HE Mansoor bin Ibrahim Al Mahmoud, Qatar Health Congress 2026 was officially opened on Thursday by HE Mohammed bin Khalifa Al Suwaidi, Managing Director of Hamad Medical Corporation (HMC).

Held over three days, the landmark event brought together 2,000 healthcare professionals, experts, and decision-makers to focus on one shared goal: improving the quality, safety, and experience of care for patients across Qatar and the region.

Organised under the leadership of HMC, the Congress highlighted how advances in healthcare are directly improving the lives of patients - from faster diagnosis and safer treatments to more coordinated care and better long-term support for people living with chronic conditions.
