The Eighth Islamic Conference of Health Ministers concluded today in Amman, with the participation of health ministers, heads of delegations, and representatives from international organizations and OIC institutions.

At the conference's conclusion, the ministers issued the “Amman Declaration,” affirming the commitment of OIC member states to strengthening cooperation and joint action to achieve health security and ensure equitable access to healthcare services.

The ministers emphasized the importance of supporting local production of medicines, vaccines, and diagnostics, while expanding cooperation in technology transfer and pooled procurement among member states.
