Libya: Dabaiba government and UNDP discuss digitalization of healthcare sector


The Libyan Government of National Accord (GNA) discussed with a delegation from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) ways to strengthen cooperation in support of the government's priorities in the health sector, with a particular focus on digital transformation and institutional governance. This was reported by the government platform "Hakomitna." The meeting was attended by the Minister of State for Prime Ministerial and Cabinet Affairs, Mohamed Ben Ghalbon, the Minister of Health, Mohamed al Ghouj, the UNDP resident representative in Libya, Sophie Kemkhadze, and the deputy resident representative, Mohammad Saleh.

According to the statement, the meeting focused on mechanisms to support the Ministry of Health in its digital transformation and strengthening governance, with the aim of increasing administrative efficiency and improving the quality of healthcare services offered to citizens.
