Khulna City Corporation (KCC) has intensified its anti-dengue campaign, launching enhanced cleanliness and mosquito-control operations alongside free medical camps to protect city residents from the growing threat of dengue.
As part of the campaign, KCC is conducting public awareness activities, cleaning drains, sewers and canals, carrying out fogging to kill adult mosquitoes and applying larvicide to breeding sites.
A special "crash programme" has also been launched to further strengthen mosquito-control activities across the city.
Under the initiative, free medical camps have been set up near the homes of low-income families to ensure easy access to healthcare. Men, women and children suffering from dengue and other types of fever will receive free primary treatment at the camps.
