Jordan University Hospital admits 14 Gaza children for specialized care

Under royal directives from His Majesty King Abdullah II, Jordan University Hospital (JUH) has begun providing specialized medical care to 14 children evacuated from the Gaza Strip.

The patients, suffering from a range of chronic and acute conditions including heart disease, kidney failure, urinary tract issues, and gastrointestinal disorders, arrived at the facility on Tuesday to receive advanced treatment unavailable in the war-torn enclave.

The admission follows the successful evacuation of the 27th batch of sick children by the Jordan Armed Forces-Arab Army (JAF) on Monday.

This latest group, part of the "Jordanian Medical Corridor" initiative, included a total of 42 children and 75 companions who were distributed among various Jordanian hospitals based on their specific medical needs.

Commitment to humanitarian support

The Director General of Jordan University Hospital, Professor Nader Al-Basoul, emphasized that the hospital has mobilized its full medical and human resources to support the young patients.

"The reception of these children embodies our practical commitment to the Royal directives aimed at supporting our brothers and sisters in Gaza," Al-Basoul stated.
