The Administrative Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, Khamis Al-Saad, announced today, Friday, that the ministry is studying a project to establish a large medical city in Baghdad and some Iraqi governorates containing specialized centers and public hospitals with the participation of the private sector.
Al-Saad told the Iraqi News Agency (INA): that "The Ministry of Health is in favor of expanding medical services in Baghdad and the governorates, and we are studying the establishment of medical cities in Baghdad and the governorates, including Dhi Qar, which include medical cities containing specialized centers in order to integrate health and medical services and provide high-quality services to citizens."
