Dr. Lulwa Rashid Showaiter, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health, participated in the 71st session of the World Health Organizations (WHO) Regional Committee for the Eastern Mediterranean, held under the theme "Health Beyond Borders: Action, Access, Equity in the Eastern Mediterranean Region."

During the meeting, regional delegations discussed critical health issues, including the strategic action plan for 2025-2028, improving access to medical products, investing in healthcare workers, and enhancing health information systems.
