Health Minister Dr Samanta Lal Sen has commented that the standard of treatment will improve if the members of parliament go to local hospitals for check-ups.

He said MPs should seek treatment in their local hospitals. Then the confidence of the common people in the treatment of the country will increase.

The minister said these things in the discussion meeting of the hospital authorities and doctors on duty at the Chittagong Medical College (CMCH) hospital conference room on Saturday.

Samanta said: “It is my responsibility to monitor that patients get proper treatment, and it is also my responsibility to see that doctors also get protection while providing services. I must protect both patients and doctors.”
