Health and Family Welfare Minister Dr Samanta Lal Sen on Saturday urged people not to panic and said all government hospitals have sufficient stock of the anti-venom Russell's Viper. 

“I would like to tell the public not to panic. We have sufficient stock of the anti-venom for Russell's Viper in all our hospitals. I have instructed that under no circumstances should there be a shortage of anti-venom," he said this during a online meeting.

At the meeting, Dr Samanta Lal spoke about snakebites and Russell's Viper after taking updates on the overall situation in various districts.
