Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hassan, Minister of Health, met with Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, Director General of the World Health Organisation (WHO), to discuss further developing cooperation and expanding Bahrain’s partnership with WHO in various health disciplines.

The minister highlighted the strong ties between the Kingdom of Bahrain and WHO. 

She underscored the shared commitment to advancing strategic health initiatives, exchanging expertise, and supporting sustainable development goals, particularly in healthcare, chronic disease management, and innovative health systems.

On his part, Dr. Ghebreyesus commended Bahrain’s development in the health sector and its efforts to enhance healthcare quality and medical innovation.
