Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayed Jawad Hasan, Minister of Health, said maintaining the efficiency of Bahrain’s healthcare system and the continuity of its services is a key priority in government efforts to ensure healthcare remains available to all at the highest levels of efficiency.

The Health Minister said the Kingdom of Bahrain, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the directives of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has mobilised resources across the health sector to ensure it can continue providing healthcare efficiently under all circumstances.

Dr. Hasan said the health sector had strengthened its operational preparedness at an early stage through an integrated approach to addressing different healthcare needs. This included raising preparedness levels, increasing capacity and ensuring the continuity of operations and services.

She said resources were also managed according to actual requirements, with continuous monitoring of strategic stocks of medicines and medical supplies, helping maintain operational efficiency and ensure healthcare needs are met at all times.
