Egypt’s Ministry of Health and Population and Ministry of Local Development have signed a cooperation protocol to implement the National Population and Development Strategy 2030, aimed at balancing population growth with economic development and improving living standards for Egyptian families.
The agreement was witnessed by Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, and Manal Awad, Minister of Local Development and Environment.
The protocol was signed by Abla Al-Alfi, Deputy Minister of Health for Population and Family Development, and Hossam El-Qawish, Assistant Minister for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Local Development.
Abdel Ghaffar said the agreement aims to strengthen coordination between ministries, governorates and local administrative units to support the implementation of national population policies and improve the quality of public services.
