Jordan Daily – The Eastern Mediterranean Public Health Network (EMPHNET) held a webinar on Tuesday to discuss the humanitarian challenges and solutions in the region, where conflicts and crises have affected millions of people.

The webinar, titled “Navigating Challenges in Humanitarian Action: The Example of the Eastern Mediterranean Region”, featured experts from regional and global institutions:Professor and Head of Development and Sustainability Department at the  Asian Institute of Technology in Bangkok, Prof. Mokbul Morshed Ahmad, the Head of Information Center for International Health Protection at the Robert Koch Institute,  Dr. Andreas Jansen, Head of Emergency Preparedness and Response Surveillance and Response Support at the European Center for Disease Prevention and Control (ECDC), Dr. Thomas Hofmann, and the Regional Emergency Director, Eastern Mediterranean Office (EMRO), WHO, Dr Richard Brennan.
