The Dhaka North City Corporation (DNCC) on Monday first applied the Bacillus thuringiensis israelensis (Bti) pesticide as part of the ongoing Aedes mosquito control program to contain the spread of dengue.
DNCC Mayor Md Atiqul Islam was present when the pesticide was used in Road 47 area of Gulshan-2 in the morning.
