Algeria, Tunisia Strengthen Bilateral Healthcare Cooperation


The Health Minister of the Tunisian Republic, Mustapha Ferjani, accompanied by a high-level delegation, is on an official visit to Algeria at the invitation of the Health Minister, Mohamed Seddik Ait Messaoudene, according to a ministry statement.

According to the ministry, the three-day visit (February 1-3) is part of efforts to “strengthen the Algerian-Tunisian partnership in healthcare and enhance coordination and cooperation in health and pharmaceutical manufacturing for the benefit of both countries.” The visit’s agenda features “a series of high-level bilateral meetings between the two ministers, as well as expanded bilateral meetings that include both delegations, aimed at exploring cooperation opportunities and sharing experiences and expertise in pharmaceuticals, telemedicine, genetic medicine, vector-borne diseases, and the One Health approach, while also identifying areas for future partnership.”
