TEHRAN – Alborz province, home to the first health tourism village in Iran, has set sights on drawing international visitors by enhancing infrastructures.

“The first health tourism complex in Iran, located between the tourist areas of Kordan and Baraghan, has been operational since last year,” said the manager of the health tourism village on Thursday. “From that point on, the complex has already hosted several foreign delegations.”

Mahboob Hashemi explained that the village offers comprehensive preventive and diagnostic services for all diseases. “Patients requiring further treatment are referred to specialized and super-specialized medical centers,” he pinpointed.

In addition to health services, the complex also provides accommodation and tourism services for visitors, making it a holistic destination for health and wellness, according to Hashemi.
