The Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences at Middle East University held a specialised introductory session to spotlight the Nutrition Innovation Lab (JNIL) project in Jordan.
The session, moderated by Dr. Nermin Al-Awwad, Head of the Department of Nutrition and Integrative Health, was attended by Prof. Murad Al-Houli, Dean of the Faculty of Allied Medical Sciences, Prof. Amjad Abu Rmeileh, Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy, alongside faculty members, academics, experts, and students from various medical disciplines. The event was marked by a rich academic atmosphere and interactive dialogue.
The Nutrition Innovation Lab in Jordan, supported by USAID and in collaboration with the Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy at Tufts University, is a pioneering initiative aimed at improving the health and nutritional indicators of pregnant and lactating women and children under two years old in Jordan.
