The Medical Response and Public Health Sector affirmed its readiness to deal with the expected weather situation on Tuesday and the day after, by preparing a plan to ensure the continuity of the work of health institutions and the provision of services in the affected governorates and areas.
Dr Rashid bin Hamed Al Badi, Director of the Emergency Management Centre at the Ministry of Health, told Oman News Agency (ONA) that health institutions in the governorates to be affected by the weather situation have been directed to take appropriate measures and provide all health services through the presence of medical personnel, medicines and health supplies and to intervene and deal quickly with emergencies.
