The head of Libya’s National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), Hayder Al-Sayeh, announced that Libya had exited the fourth wave of the Corona virus.
He said Libya has now returned to a situation of epidemiological stability but stressed that it could not be said that Corona is over. ‘‘We hope so, but it is still too early to say such words.”
He said it was necessary to raise the percentage of vaccinated people in Libya to get out of the epidemic once and for all. He explained that increasing immunity by vaccination will prevent the transmission of the virus between people.
