The Ministry of Health in Kuwait has issued an official clarification addressing public concerns raised by a circulating video regarding the appropriate age group for the Human Papillomavirus (HPV) vaccination.

In a statement released Sunday, the ministry emphasized that HPV is among the most common viruses globally and is linked to several types of cancer and other preventable diseases. The HPV vaccine, it stated, is a safe and effective means of protection for both girls and boys, capable of reducing the risk of virus-related cancers by up to 90%.
